Being bothered with occasional eczema and dry skin on my legs, I tried different oils in the market, Nothing helped. Fortunately, I got Ayurvedic Karpooradhi Thailam and Nalpamaradi Keram. Excellent product. Go for it!

This is my second purchase from Kerala Ayurveda This oil removes tan , and fade marks. Very nice oil

Everybody wants a glowy, healthy, and fresh skin. However, the fast-paced lifestyle, growing pollution, and various other factors such as sun exposure can damage skin, and cause tanning, and sun damage.

For such concerns, Kerala Ayurveda’s Nalpamaradi Keram can save the day. Formulated with 16 natural varnya or glow imparting herb such as the bark of four Ficus species or Nalpamara, which brightens the skin, Vetiver or Usira, which soothes and renews skin, Indian gooseberry or Amla, which reduces tan, along with Red sandalwood or Raktachandana, Indian madder or Manjistha, and more cooked in coconut oil. This oil can help repair skin damage and give naturally healthy skin.

Here’s a list of some of Nalpamaradi keram’s herbal ingredients:

  • Nalpamara-Nyagrodha (Ficus benghalensis), Udumbara (Ficus racemosa), Aswatha (Ficus religiosa), Plaksha (Ficus lacor)- helps reduce sun spots and pigmentation
  • Triphala- Haritaki (Terminalia chebula), Bibhitaki (Terminalia belerica), Amalaki (Emblica officinalis)- promotes skin healing
  • Raktachandana (Pterocarpus Santalinus)- helps remove pigmentation
  • Manjistha (Rubia cordifolia)- helps achieve healthy skin
  • Haridra (Curcuma longa)- naturally brightens the skin and helps reduce sun damage
  • Keram (Coconut Oil)- soothes skin and promotes a cooling sensation

Nalpamaradi keram acts as a detanning oil for both the face and the body. You can use it on your face in the morning for 15 to 20 minutes and cleanse your face with a mild cleanser.

If you wish to use this over your body, take 10 ml of the oil in a bowl, apply it over your body using your fingers, and take a bath after 30 minutes. If you have oily skin, you can reduce the quantity to about 5 ml.

For dry skin, massage the oil over your neck and face in gentle circular motions and long strokes over the body. Wait 30 minutes before taking a bath.

Also, avoid using Nalpamaradi keram with your clothes on. Because this oil contains original turmeric, it can leave a yellowish tinge on your clothes.

Note: If you are using Nalpamaradi oil for the first time, do a patch test. If there’s no itching, you can continue using the product.

When used on the face regularly, Nalpamaradi keram can help heal sun damage, help manage damage due to skin infections, and promote a natural glow.

As a tan removal body oil, regular usage of Nalpamaradi keram can create the following results:

  • Tan removal
  • Softer skin
  • Naturally glowing skin
  • Improved skin quality

Frequently Asked Questions

Nalpamaradi keram is an Ayurvedic oil made from extracts of 16 naturally occurring herbs, each of which contributes towards its safety and efficacy. Plus, all our products are lab tested. However, to ensure safe and effective use, you can do a patch test before adding it to your skincare routine. If it doesn’t trigger allergies or skin irritation, it would be safe to continue using this herbal oil.

Nalpamaradi keram has been widely used to improve skin quality, maintain the glow, and brighten skin for centuries. It’s safe for the skin, and using it regularly can help you achieve a natural, long-lasting glow.

Yes, it’s safe to use Nalpamaradi keram on babies, but only after diluting it with a carrier oil. Babies have delicate skin and need extra caution. We recommend mixing Nalpamaradi Keram with organic sweet almond oil. Massaging it on the body will improve your baby's skin health and texture. Also, it can help keep the skin moisturized.

Kerala Ayurveda’s Nalpamaradi Keram is made with 100% coconut oil. For this reason, it can often freeze during winters. However, you can easily liquify the oil by churning the bottle between your palms. This does not diminish its efficacy.

Nalpamaradi keram is formulated using various natural ingredients, including turmeric. For this reason, it can often leave a yellowish tinge. To clean up, you can wash it off with a cleanser. Also, note that if Nalpamaradi keram does not stain, it can not be genuine.
